Solar Compression Inserts – 15mm & 22mm

Solar compression inserts are used inside copper pipework when making compression connections in solar hot water and solar thermal systems.

These inserts help support the pipe wall during assembly, reducing the risk of pipe distortion when the compression fitting is tightened. They are particularly useful in high-temperature, pressurised glycol solar thermal systems.

Solar Heating Compression Inserts

Available for 15mm and 22mm copper pipe, these compression inserts are designed for use with compatible solar heating compression fittings.

The insert is placed inside the copper pipe before the compression connection is assembled. This helps maintain the shape of the pipe and provides a more secure connection when the compression fitting is tightened.
