Solar PV Lightning Clamp

The Solar PV Lightning Clamp is a solar mounting component designed for use with suitable solar panel framework and earthing arrangements.

Correctly earthing and bonding the solar panel mounting framework is an important part of a solar PV installation. This clamp is intended for applications where the solar panel framework needs to be connected as part of the appropriate earthing system.

Solar Panel Earthing

The lightning clamp can form part of the electrical connection between suitable solar PV mounting framework and the system earthing arrangement.

It should only be used where appropriate for the particular solar PV system and in accordance with the solar panel and mounting system manufacturer’s instructions.
